How to Pray
| That all men returning from the retreat would be changed in such a way that everyone they encountered would notice and comment about the change. At home with their families, at church with other believers, at work with those they work with on a daily basis and in the community among both believers and pre-believers.That all men attending the retreat would hear from GOD on issues they are dealing with in their lives.
That fathers and sons would be drawn closer together and closer to GOD by attending the retreat. That walls between Foursquare churches and churches of other denominations would be replaced with a sense of unity in Christ Jesus. That men inside the churches and those that do not attend church would be drawn to the retreat to draw closer to GOD. That the council and those involved in the planning would have wisdom from GOD and all decisions made would bring honor and glory to HIM. That GOD would speak through all of the men involved up front during the week end. That GOD would provide a hedge of protection over the men, both coming to and planning the retreat as well as their families in the year leading up to the retreat. |
That GOD would stir the hearts of the men HE wants to attend and speak to during the weekend.That GOD would send his HOLY Spirit to move through the men over the course of the weekend.
That GOD would provide a hedge of protection for all of the families that are at home during that weekend. That GOD would provide a retreat within the retreat for all those volunteering to assist in serving the men. That new relationships would develop and that each one of them would discern God’s hand on their life as a result of the decision to help during the weekend. That GOD would establish stronger men’s groups in churches all over the Northwest as a result of the retreat weekend. That GOD would continue to lead, guide and direct this ministry and that the council would seek the direction that GOD provides and not pursue their own agendas. That GOD would continue to provide the needed volunteers that work so hard to make this retreat a successful weekend. That GOD would continue to lead to the speakers, special music and worship teams and provide each one of them with what he wants them to say to the men he has called to the retreat. That GOD would provide a unity among the planning team to make them of one accord. |
That GOD would continue to raise up men to serve as point men from each of the churches as well as men who are willing to serve on the council, pastoral over sight and the financial oversight groups. That GOD would speak to the hearts of wives, sweet hearts and mothers and have them send the men in their lives to this event. That GOD would continue to lead us in the direction of quality in all things provided at the retreat including speakers, special music, worship teams, seminars as well as the food. That GOD would continue to meet the needs of this retreat to keep this event affordable for everyone who needs or wants to attend. That GOD would touch and change the heart of every man who attends this event. That GOD would call the men back year after year and they would have a heart hunger for more of HIM and what HE wants to do in their lives. That everyone involved would come away blessed by the experience of this event. That GOD would continue to be raised up as a result of this event. |
