In 1999 at the Promise Keepers “Choose This Day” conference in Tacoma, WA. Tom was part of the Evangelistic or “EV” team. By 2000 Tom was serving on the intercessory team at the “Go the Distance” conference in Portland, OR. But the Prayer Booth was where the “rubber met the road” and Tom could see lives transform. Tom served on the prayer team at the Foursquare Northwest Men’s Retreat in 2001 and 2002. He has been to all the Retreats except for one. He is excited and honored to be part of the Council in 2010 Tom and Vickie have been married 17 years. They have two children: Jacob and Breanne. |
Dave Carlson President ![]() Hi, I’m Dave Carlson. I accepted Christ in high school, and was shepherded through my early, wobbly, walking with the Lord at Faith I am honored and humbled to have been asked to serve on the retreat council, as my experiences at the retreat have been characterized by deep intimacy and healing in the presence of Lord. Please don’t miss this event! In addition to the great fellowship, wonderful food, and loads of fun, Jesus will be here to change the lives of all who are willing. |
David Claborn Vice President ![]() Hi, I met Jesus personally as my Lord and savior in 1970, right in the thick of the Jesus movement. It was at the Highland Park Neighborhood Church where my birth and growth started. It was also there where I met and married my wife Nancy. We’ve been married for 38 years with 3 children and 6 grandchildren; 5 little wild men and one little princess. My heart ministry is for the men at Eastside Church in Prineville, OR where we live and attend, I desire to see all men set free from the past baggage they still carry, totally healed by the lord and made whole in Him. I’ve been with the men’s Retreat since the beginning because I see the value of the teachings, worship, prayer intercession, and the move of the Holy Spirit on the men who attend. God bless you all, it’s my privilege to serve you.
